New MOTORYSE Brand Signs Distribution Deals With DSG And Mountain West Distributors

New MOTORYSE brand signs distribution deals with DSG and Mountain West Distributors

RYSE Inc. has launched a new investment round seeking to raise up to $40.95 million through a Regulation A offering, as the smart home company expands its presence in the professional integration channel.

The offering, qualified by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Oct. 9, is priced at $2.60 per share and includes up to 15,751,655 shares. The announcement follows the launch of MOTORYSE, RYSE’s new professional trade brand, which secured distribution agreements with two U.S. distributors following its debut at CEDIA Expo 2026.

Founded in 2015, RYSE develops retrofit products that automate existing window coverings. The company reports more than $20 million in lifetime revenue, 10 issued patents, and retail availability in more than 100 Best Buy stores.

The funding will support the company’s expansion into the professional channel, targeting smart home integrators, dealers and installers seeking retrofit automation solutions.

“Coming out of CEDIA with two major distributors signed, we’re seeing firsthand how much demand there is for retrofit automation in the professional trade channel,” said Trung Pham, Founder and CEO of RYSE. “This funding round gives us the fuel to rapidly scale in this market and equip integrators and fabricators with the retrofit solutions they’re after.”

MOTORYSE Targets Integrators

RYSE’s SmartShade and SmartCurtain products let users automate existing window coverings without replacing them. SmartShade attaches to compatible beaded-chain shades, including roller shades and vertical blinds, while SmartCurtain fits existing curtain rods or tracks.

Both products support app, remote and voice-assistant control, scheduling, and manual activation through interaction with the window covering. Integration options include IFTTT, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit.

MOTORYSE builds on RYSE’s existing technology with dedicated trade support, dealer programs, professional integrations with Control4 and Josh.ai, and distribution infrastructure. The brand is designed to give integrators and window covering professionals another option for adding motorization to existing installations.

Two Distribution Deals Signed

DSG Distributors will carry MOTORYSE products throughout the New York region, serving professional AV and smart home integrators.

Mountain West Distributors (MWD) will distribute the products through its locations in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. MWD is a founding member of the PowerHouse Alliance, a national network of professional technology distributors with more than 70 locations.

“At DSG Distributors, we look for solutions that help our dealers win more business and deliver real value to their customers. That’s what makes MOTORYSE compelling to us,” said Dave Silkin, President and CEO of DSG Distributors. “The ability to automate compatible shades, blinds and curtains customers already own opens up opportunities in both residential and commercial projects. It gives dealers a reason to reconnect with existing clients and offer an upgrade without asking them to replace window treatments they already like.”

“We are excited to partner with MOTORYSE. They offer a unique product that fills a hole for our dealers and helps round out our shades category,” said Garrett Breinholt, Sales Manager at Mountain West Distributors.
