Voxx To Acquire Rosen Electronics From Aamp Of America

Voxx Electronics is acquiring the Rosen Electronics brand from Aamp of America, Voxx announced on Thursday. 

According to a statement, Voxx has entered into a definitive purchase agreement with Aamp to acquire all inventory and intellectual property, including patents and trademarks, of Rosen Electronics products.

“The acquisition of Rosen Electronics complements and expands our current RSE [rear-seat entertainment] leadership position in the industry, as well as adds to our extensive portfolio of RSE patents. With the announcement of the acquisition we look forward to servicing our current Voxx and newly acquired Rosen customers,” said Aron Demers, Voxx Electronics senior VP.

Rosen’s operations from will move from Aamp’s Ontario, Calif., facility to Voxx’s facilities in Nevada, Virginia and Florida. 

Rosen, which manufactures rear-seat headrest and entertainment systems, was acquired by Aamp in 2015. Aamp is also the parent to the Echomaster, iSimple, Pac, Stinger, Phoenix Gold and Autoleads brands.

Voxx Electronics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Voxx International.
