Monster Digital took aim on the action-cam market this holiday season with the launch of the Monster Vision VR.
The virtual-reality action cam features an ultra-wide-angle 360-degree spherical field of view. It can record 1,920 by 960 video at 30 fps, and has a 2x 4-megapixel CMOS sensor. It can also record time-lapse video multiple frequency levels.
The camera’s 1,500 mAh lithium-ion battery is said to record for one hour.
The Vision VR comes with a 16GB memory card, tripod and RF remote. It’s currently shipping for a $379 suggested retail.
Monster Digital, a licensee of the Monster name, also sells a $99.99 Vision 1080p action cam and a $279 Vision 360 version.
