Clearwater, Fla. –
iSimple added to
version that adds Bluetooth and can be controlled via an Android app.
The TranzIt Blu (ISFM21)
combines FM transmitting and Bluetooth communication to enable wireless audio
streaming for “virtually any vehicle and any Android smartphone,” the company,
a division of Aamp of America, said.
The kit adds an interference
blocking system that reportedly disengages the incoming antenna signal when
audio playback is detected. The Bluetooth uses the A2DP profile, and the
Android app lets users control the system.
The TranzIt Blu will be
on display at International CES in January — the company took home an
Innovations Award at the Consumer Electronics Association Press Preview event
It will be available in
the first quarter of 2011. Expected retail will be around $100, a spokesman told TWICE.
