Almo Professional Adds Hitachi Projectors

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 12/16/2009

Philadelphia, Penn. - Professional A/V integrator and dealer distributor Almo Professional A/V said it will carry projectors from Hitachi America's, business solutions group.

As part of the distribution agreement, Almo Professional A/V partners can now purchase Hitachi's full line of 3LCD projectors for corporate, worship, K-12, higher education, government, SOHO, networking, wireless and short throw applications, the distributor said.

In addition, the company's interactive touch and pen-driven StarBoard whiteboards for educational environments will be available through Almo Professional A/V beginning Jan. 1, 2010.

Many of the newest projector and whiteboard models are being shown on the Almo E4 AV Tour, a new reseller event that kicked off on Dec. 8 in New York City and will continue in Anaheim on February 16 and Chicago on April 7.

"Since Almo Professional A/V opened for business, Hitachi has been at the top of a very exclusive list of manufacturers we sought to partner with us," said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and COO for Almo Professional A/V. "We are now able to give our partners access to some of the most effective display technology available that also provides high margin returns for our resellers."

"Our main objective at Hitachi is to provide end-users with top-of-the-line presentation technology coupled with a level of customer service that is unmatched in the industry," said Ray Soltys, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), business group sales director.
