Well known for their high-end custom home integration in audio, video and lights, QAV has decided to expand its roster of products with a whole-home energy system: The HelioWing by World4Solar, a solar-powered canopy with integrated energy storage to power an entire home.
Reliable energy supply is a fast-emerging demand in the home integrations field with an increasing thirst for power by automated homes, backyard amenities and electric vehicles. But besides conveniences, people also want to know their critical systems such as HVAC, Security and Connectivity Devices up and running during outages or brownouts. And those are on an all-time high due to aged infrastructure and increasing extreme weather.
The HelioWing is here to bring back peace of mind and independence from any grid or utility company without compromising on the look of your home. It integrates perfectly with luxury residential environments, while providing a feature-packed inside. The HelioWing generates, stores and distributes energy in a smart way to avoid peak rates. With a small 7.38kWp and the larger 9.84kWp version, it offers options suitable for varying demand or available space. The 36kWh battery storage saves generated energy to use during night hours or outages. Integrated RGBW LEDs add a nice ambience to any driveway or backyard and can be motion controlled to also add an extra layer of security. Add the optional EV charger and you have an all-you-need energy system.
