HSN Honors New Age Electronics

St. Petersburg, Fla. — HSN, the broadcast and online direct seller, has awarded national IT and CE distributor New Age Electronics with its Operational Excellence Award.

The top-partner honor, New Age’s fourth annual award from HSN, recognizes the distributor for providing best-in-class service for fill rate to cancellations, on-time delivery and “an unmatched consumer experience.”

“New Age Electronics is a go-to fulfillment partner for HSN and continues to demonstrate the highest level of commitment to our customers,” said Sandy Conrad, HSN’s electronics and housewares senior VP. “Their ongoing support contributes to HSN’s position as a leader in consumer electronics and helps us reach our goal of bringing today’s leading technologies to our customers in the most efficient way possible.”

Added New Age president Fred Towns: “We value our strategic relationship with HSN and are proud to be recognized for our ability and commitment to consistently achieve top results in order fulfillment and delivery to their customers. Our goal is to provide seamless operational management for our retailers, while helping them successfully navigate the entire sales cycle through a host of professional services that increase efficiencies and revenue.”

Indeed, New Age manages drop ship orders and returns directly for retail stores and consumers from its nationwide warehouse network, maintaining required service-level agreements for all accounts.

The award was bestowed earlier this month at HSN’s annual Partner Recognition Gala, here, which spotlights the most remarkable partner contributions of the year. This year, over 200 nominations were submitted across all categories out of approximately 1,200 eligible partners. Each nomination was carefully reviewed by a senior selection committee comprised of senior leaders and the HSN executive committee to determine the finalists for each category, the retailer said.
