BenQ has added two projectors designed for golf simulation, the AK900ST and AK800ST. Both models feature true 4K UHD resolution, 97% Rec. 709 color coverage and automated setup tools.
The AK900ST delivers up to 6,000 ANSI lumens. Both projectors use BenQ’s Golf Mode 2.0, which uses frame-based AI video processing to adjust color, contrast and detail for golf simulation.
For installation, Auto Screen Fit 2.0 uses a built-in camera and sensors to detect the size and shape of a screen and adjust image geometry for flat or curved impact screens. Auto Focus provides one-touch focusing, while Ambient Visual Enhancer adjusts the image based on room conditions.

The projectors support 5:4 and 3:2 aspect ratios, along with 1:1 and 4:3 formats commonly used with golf simulator screens.
Both models can also be used for movies, sports and gaming. Scene Memory allows users to save settings for different types of content. They support HDR10, Cinematic Mode with native 24p playback, and Automatic Low Latency Mode for gaming consoles.
The AK900ST and AK800ST will be available later this month for $5,999 and $3,999, respectively, through BenQ.com and authorized BenQ resellers.
