Hisense Launches 32-Inch Portable 4K Touchscreen

RoamView features a freestanding design, built-in battery and touchscreen controls

Hisense has introduced RoamView, a 32-inch 4K touchscreen display designed to be moved between rooms and used without a power cord for up to 10 hours on its stand.

The display has a freestanding design and can also be placed on a table using an easel. Its stand allows users to raise, lower, tilt and swivel the screen.

Hisense positions RoamView as a multipurpose display that can be used for watching TV, video calls, displaying recipes, controlling smart home devices and viewing digital artwork.

“RoamView is about meeting people where they actually live, not where a TV traditionally has to sit,” said David Gold, Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy General Manager at Hisense USA. “We built it to move as freely as our customers do, so a great screen is never limited to one room, one outlet, or one moment in the day. It’s a natural next step for our lifestyle portfolio, and a reflection of how we think about design at Hisense.”

The 32-inch display supports touch controls, allowing users to swipe, tap and pinch through content without a remote.

RoamView also includes a built-in wide-angle camera for video calls, presentations and live broadcasts. The camera is designed to automatically keep users framed.

RoamView is available in the U.S. starting Sept. 14 through Best Buy for $1,199.99. It will also be available soon through Amazon.
