Hisense Launches C3 Laser Projector Family

C3 Pro, C3 Ultra and C3 Ultra Max support screens up to 300 inches

Hisense has launched its C3 family of TriChroma laser projectors, offering three models with RGB laser technology, gimbal-based positioning and projection sizes ranging from 65 to 300 inches.

The lineup includes the C3 Pro, C3 Ultra and C3 Ultra Max, which are designed to provide flexible projector placement and automated setup features for a range of viewing environments.

“Hisense has spent years investing in RGB because we believe color is fundamental to a great viewing experience,” said David Gold, Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy General Manager at Hisense USA. “We first pushed that vision forward through laser, and the expertise we built there helped open the door for RGB innovation across our broader display portfolio. C3 Family brings the story full circle.”

All three models use dedicated red, green, and blue lasers and can reproduce up to 118% of the BT.2020 color space. A seven-level adjustable iris and up to 5,000:1 contrast ratio are designed to improve black levels and shadow detail, while anti-glare technology helps reduce the effects of ambient light.

The projectors feature an integrated gimbal that allows users to position the image, while automatic keystone correction, autofocus, screen adaptation, and obstacle avoidance handle image alignment and focus.

The C3 Pro delivers up to 3,000 ANSI lumens, 5,000:1 contrast with the iris and 1.6x optical zoom. The C3 Ultra increases brightness to 4,000 ANSI lumens and uses four dedicated laser imaging chips, which Hisense says provide 5% greater efficiency.

The C3 Ultra Max tops the lineup with up to 5,000 ANSI lumens and four dedicated laser imaging chips. It also adds 2x optical zoom for greater placement flexibility.

All three models support Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced. They also include a 56-watt 2.1-channel audio system tuned by Devialet.

The C3 Pro, C3 Ultra, and C3 Ultra Max are available now for $2,499.99, $2,999.99, and $3,999.99, respectively, at Hisense’s website, Amazon, and Best Buy.
