Pioneer Car Takes To Road In March

Long Beach, Calif. – Pioneer’s car electronics division is going to technology and automotive events this month to demonstrate car audio systems incorporating head units with Apple Car Play and Android Auto smartphone-control technology.

The company’s AppRadio 4 head unit, speakers, and subwoofers  will also be demonstrated.

First up is an appearance at the C3 Group’s second-annual Connected Car Conference and Pavilion in Austin, Texas, on, March 14. The event brings people from the automotive, technology, policy, and research industries together to discuss the future of connected-car technology. It also includes a Connected Car Pavilion featuring the latest in infotainment, autonomous driving and other connected-car technologies.

On March 14 and March 15, Pioneer will show up at the Pomona Street Machine and Muscle Car Nations event in Pomona, Calif. Pioneer is sponsoring the Pioneer Car Audio Pro Builders Pavilion, where more than 20 professional car builders and shops with more than 80 custom cars will be on display.

Participating builders, shops and TV shows include Chip Foose’s Overhaulin’, So-Cal Speed Shop, Barry’s Speed Shop, American Hot Rods, Palmer’s Customs, Back Alley Restorations, RRC Fab & Speed and others. A radio station will give away a free Pioneer AVIC-7100NEX receiver.

On March 28, Pioneer will show up at Super Street Tech Day in Irvine, Calif. Formula D cars arrive at the event for a tech inspection before the 2015 racing season begins. Super Street Magazine converts its large parking lot into a car meet centered around the garage where the tech inspections take place. Attendees get driver autographs, see products from vendors, enjoy food and get giveaways.
