LG Opens Appliance Showcase For Signature Kitchen Suite

Napa Valley facility drawing dealers, designers and builders

LG Electronics USA has cut the ribbon on a multi-million Experience & Design Center in Napa, Calif., to better showcase its home appliance portfolio.

The 23,000-square-foot facility, which formally opened last week, is named for the manufacturer’s luxury Signature Kitchen Suite collection, but also spotlights its broader LG Studio and LG brand appliance line and latest AI innovations.

The design center features nearly 200 home appliances and more than 20 product vignettes, including a Signature Kitchen Suite-equipped demonstration kitchen that LG describes as the showroom’s centerpiece. Product experts are on hand to walk designers, builders, influencers and VIP dealer sales associates through the complete kitchen and laundry line, and on-site executive chefs draw from local farms and wineries to demonstrate LG’s cooking technology within the working kitchen vignettes.

“Napa Valley is the ideal location,” said Zach Elkin, GM of Signature Kitchen Suite and LG for Builders. “Establishing our base here gives us unmatched access to the best vintners, farmers, ranchers, fisherman and other craftspeople that are living out a mission every day that is true to food.”

The center also boasts an AI Lifestyle Zone where trade partners can create a smart-home ecosystem for their clients using LG’s AI technology and smart-home innovations, and the facility is accented by LG commercial displays and OLED video walls; surfaces by sister company LG Hausys; and custom cabinetry and various surfaces and fixtures from Ann Sacks, Kohler and Waterworks, among other suppliers.

In step with California’s environmental initiatives, the design center is 100-percent powered by renewable energy and employs super-efficient LG commercial air conditioning and LED lighting systems.

“This best-in-class design center builds on LG’s rich history of technology prowess and outstanding design and is yet another example of how the company continues to drive momentum and challenge the industry with innovative thinking, purposeful design and leading-edge technologies to meet unmatched needs in the marketplace,” said Dan Song, global president of the LG Home Appliance & Air Solutions Co.

The built-in Signature Kitchen Suite collection itself includes column refrigerators and freezers, wine coolers, and what LG describes as the only pro-style range available with on-board sous vide modality on the cooktop for precision cooking.

“Signature Kitchen Suite is taking the luxury built-in kitchen appliance market by storm, and the new Experience & Design Center helps bring to life the visions of our industry partners, from designers to builders to high-end retailers,” said William Cho, president/CEO of LG Electronics North America. “The opening of this state-of-the-art design center marks a key milestone for LG home appliances in the United States, providing our partners with unique interactive brand experiences across our vast and award-winning product portfolio.”
