LG’s upcoming 2024 UltraGear OLED gaming monitors now have a price point and release date. The lineup, which is led by the 45-inch curved OLED 45GS95QE-B, is expected to ship beginning at the end of this month and through April.
The lineup includes LG’s 32-inch 4K gaming monitor (model 32GS95UE) which includes a Dual Mode feature that allows convenient switching between 4K and Full HD with a higher refresh rate, as well as 39- and 34-inch models with ultra-wide curved screens: the 39GS95QE and 34GS95QE.
The First Dual Mode UltraGear Monitor to Offer 4K at 240Hz / FHD at 480Hz
The 32GS95UE is the World’s First VESA Certified Dual Mode gaming monitor. This newly introduced capability lets users instantly apply the optimal combination of screen resolution and refresh rate for the genre of game they’re playing. For fast-paced action titles and shooting games, users can select FHD at 480Hz, while visually rich story-driven games can be enjoyed in 4K at 240Hz.
In addition to the Dual Mode feature, the 32-inch LG UltraGear OLED monitor possesses an 0.03ms (GtG) response time that helps eliminate motion blur, boost clarity and deliver dynamic gameplay. The 32GS95UE further enhances the user experience with its minimal screen bezels and powerful, nuanced sound.
A Step Up With Pixel Sound
The monitor creates a three-dimensional soundscape with Pixel Sound technology and an integrated front-facing sound system featuring two woofers and support for DTS Virtual:X. With Pixel Sound, the screen is essentially the sound. Sound waves are emitted from behind the OLED panel to drive sound from the screen directly at the player – versus speakers from underneath or behind the screen.
