Fine Sounds Group has changed its name to McIntosh Group.
Fine Sounds, which is the parent company to the Audio Research, McIntosh, Pryma, Sonus Faber, Sumiko Subwoofers and Wadia luxury audio brands, released a statement announcing the news. It has also established a new website.
Fine Sounds Group was purchased in 2014 by Fine Sounds SpA CEO Mauro Grange and McIntosh president Charlie Randall, in partnership with LBO France and Yarpa. It was sold by Quadrivio, an Italian investment firm, which had owned it since 2008.
The McIntosh brand was sold to Fine Sounds from D+M in 2012.
