Samsung Electronics America has announced the HW-Q900C, the latest in its 2023 soundbar lineup. Part of Samsung’s flagship Q-series, the HW-Q900C looks to provide more options for consumers while offering a premium audio experience.
Samsung also introduced new additions to its C-series, including entry-level models that provide rich surround sound that punches above its price point. Meanwhile, the S-series models offer a more compact solution, with a black and white option to compliment a variety of interiors.
The Samsung 2023 soundbar lineup helps consumers enhance their living spaces for a best-in-class audio experience. For sound that is off the charts, the Samsung flagship TVs pair effortlessly with Samsung soundbars through new and improved audio features like Q-Symphony 3.0, Adaptive Sound, Game Mode, and built-in Wireless Dolby Atmos.

Q-Series Soundbars
Designed to deliver a complete Dolby Atmos-enabled surround sound experience, the HW-Q990C is the Samsung top-of-the-line offering. It provides 11.1.4-channel audio and synchronizes with speakers and neural processor chips inside Samsung TVs for an unprecedented multi-channel performance. Utilizing new technologies to optimize its performance for any room and placement, the HW-Q990C adds improved Q-Symphony 3.0 technology. Q-Symphony 3.0 not only turns each speaker of the TV’s built-in audio into an additional channel, but also utilizes the TV’s sound algorithms to analyze each scene with even more detail, and precisely match the TV’s output. This delivers even more realistic, immersive, 3D audio that sounds perfect in any room no matter what you are watching. The HW-Q990C supports voice control and can be controlled via Wi-Fi or any SmartThings device.
C-Series Soundbars
For budget-minded consumers, Samsung also offers the C-Series lineup – the HW-C450 and HW-C400. The HW-C450 2.1 channel soundbar has a subwoofer with Bass Boost, so you can simply tap the button to unleash booming bass. The C-Series connects seamlessly to your TV via Bluetooth and includes features like Game Mode and Adaptive Sound Lite to optimize your audio for a variety of content like gaming. For late-night TV viewing, turn on Night Mode to automatically lower the volume and compress the bass so you can continue to enjoy the crisp picture and avoid disturbing roommates or partners.
S-Series Soundbars
The S Series’ HW-S800B Ultra-Slim Soundbar is less than 2” in height and depth, featuring an all-in-one speaker in an incredibly sleek form factor. Up firing Dolby Atmos speakers bring the HW-S800B’s configuration to 3.1.2 channels. A perfect complement to any Samsung Lifestyle TV, the minimalistic design delivers blends into your room’s décor while offering exceptional sound, packed with Dolby Atmos, and a 6.5” subwoofer with 8” built-in passive radiator.
