Miele Streamlines Laundry Portfolio

Refreshed washer and heat-pump dryer lineup reduces model count while adding new smart features and updated styling

Miele has refreshed its North American laundry lineup, reducing its assortment from 10 models to six while introducing updated styling and additional smart features across its premium washer and heat-pump dryer portfolio.

The revised lineup includes one washer and one dryer in each of the company’s Gold, Platinum and Diamond product tiers. The simplified selection is designed to make it easier for consumers to choose a configuration while maintaining the company’s existing performance and fabric care features.

The new lineup continues to utilize Miele’s front-load washer and heat-pump dryer platform, adding software and connectivity enhancements designed to automate portions of the laundry process.

“With this refresh, we are making it easier for consumers to find the right laundry solution for their needs while improving the laundry day experience,” said Doruk Seden, Senior Category Manager at Miele North America Region. “From automatic detergent dispensing and washer-to-dryer communication to fabric-specific programs and remote app controls, the Miele lineup delivers thoughtful innovations that help consumers achieve exceptional results with less effort.”

Among the new features is Wash2Dry, which automatically transfers the selected wash program from a compatible washer to the dryer. Platinum and Diamond models also include the company’s TwinDos automatic detergent dispensing system, while those tiers offer QuickIntenseWash and SingleWash cycles for shorter loads or individual garments.

The updated lineup expands functionality in the Miele@home app with remote controls for Water+, Prewash, Soaking, and EcoFeedback, allowing users to monitor water and energy consumption. Diamond models also support MobileStart through the company’s MTouch interface.

Miele has also updated the product design, with all washers and Platinum and Diamond dryers featuring an obsidian black door accented by a white ring. The company said the Gold and Platinum tiers retain the same control interfaces, allowing consumers to mix washer and dryer models while maintaining a consistent appearance.

“Miele has long been the choice for consumers who take laundry seriously. Our customers are the type of people who separate by color, choose programs by garment type, and invest in appliances that protect the clothes they love,” said Søren Rye, President and CEO of Miele USA and Mexico. “The refreshed lineup reinforces our commitment to our consumers’ cleaning needs with a more intuitive portfolio structure, a striking new design, and smarter features that make doing laundry feel as elevated as the results.”

Across the lineup, all models feature Miele’s honeycomb drum and heat-pump drying technology. The company said the appliances are tested to its 20-year durability standard and are designed to dry at lower temperatures to help protect fabrics while reducing energy consumption.

The refreshed Miele laundry lineup is now available through authorized Miele dealers nationwide. Washer and dryer models start at $1,999.
