Klipsch is marking eight decades in the audio industry with KlipschFest 2026 Powered by Onkyo, a free, two-day celebration that will open the doors of the company’s global headquarters in Indianapolis to music enthusiasts, audiophiles and the local community on November 6–7.
The event will commemorate the company’s 80th anniversary through immersive listening experiences, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes tours and historical exhibits highlighting the brand’s contributions to high-fidelity audio. Attendees will also have opportunities to interact with Klipsch engineers and product experts, experience automotive audio installations and enjoy live entertainment.
“For 80 years, Klipsch has been about more than building great speakers. It’s about the emotional connection people have with music, movies and sound,” said Vinny Bonacorsi, Chief Operating Officer of Premium Audio Company. “Indianapolis is our home, and KlipschFest is our opportunity to open our doors, turn up the volume and share our products, our people and our culture with the community.”
Showcasing Audio Innovation
A centerpiece of KlipschFest will be a series of intimate listening sessions designed to showcase the company’s latest audio products and technologies. Led by Klipsch experts, the demonstrations will allow attendees to experience music and movie soundtracks through systems configured by the engineers and specialists who work with the products.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to tour Klipsch’s patented anechoic chamber, an acoustically isolated environment used by the company’s engineering team to develop and test loudspeakers. The behind-the-scenes experience will offer attendees a closer look at the research, testing, and acoustic engineering involved in developing the brand’s audio products.
Beyond traditional home audio, KlipschFest will highlight the company’s presence in automotive and adventure audio applications. A fleet of vehicles equipped with Klipsch sound systems will be available for demonstrations, illustrating how the brand’s audio technologies extend beyond home entertainment environments.
Eight Decades of Audio Heritage
The anniversary celebration will also provide a connection to Klipsch’s origins and its role in the evolution of high-fidelity sound.
Representatives from the Klipsch Museum of Audio History, including Chief Curator Jim Hunter, will conduct tours and host rare demonstrations of the original Klipschorn loudspeaker, developed by company founder Paul W. Klipsch.
The demonstrations will give visitors an opportunity to hear the loudspeaker that helped establish the company and became one of its most recognizable products.
By pairing historical exhibits with demonstrations of contemporary audio technologies, KlipschFest will showcase both the company’s engineering legacy and its ongoing product development.
Connecting With Consumers Through Sound
In addition to the technical demonstrations, KlipschFest will feature activities intended to engage a broad audience, from longtime audio enthusiasts to families discovering the brand.
Indiana country music artist Clayton Anderson will perform live at Klipsch headquarters on Friday, November 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Food and beer trucks, family-friendly games, limited-edition merchandise, and exclusive products will also be available throughout the event.
The celebration will extend to the retail community on Saturday, November 7, when local Klipsch dealer Ovation AV hosts a KlipschFest After Party from 6 to 8 p.m. at its showroom in Carmel, Indiana. The retailer, which is celebrating both its 40th anniversary in business and 40 years as a Klipsch dealer, will feature live music from the Naptown Hepcats and dedicated Heritage listening rooms showcasing every model in the Klipsch Heritage lineup.
The after-party highlights the longstanding relationship between Klipsch and its specialty retail partners, providing another opportunity for consumers to experience the brand’s loudspeakers in a dedicated listening environment.
Klipsch is part of Premium Audio Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gentex Corporation. The company’s audio portfolio also includes Onkyo, Integra, Magnat and Heco.
KlipschFest 2026 will take place at Klipsch Global Headquarters, 3502 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, on Friday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
