Review: TRIBIT FlyBuds C3 Target Clear Calls, 35-Hour Battery Life

The true wireless earbuds combine hybrid noise cancellation, customizable EQ and a compact design at a $39.99 list price

TRIBIT has introduced the FlyBuds C3, a pair of true wireless earbuds featuring hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), six microphones for calls, and up to 35 hours of total battery life with the charging case.

Priced at an affordable $39.99 in the U.S., the FlyBuds C3 are designed for everyday listening, from commuting and workouts to extended workdays. Each earbud weighs 4 grams and carries an IP55 rating for resistance to dust and water, making them suitable for exercise and light rain.

Sound Clarity and Noise Cancellation

The FlyBuds C3 use hybrid ANC rated to reduce external noise by up to 45 dB. That should help limit distractions in environments such as public transportation and busy offices, although actual noise reduction will depend on fit and surrounding conditions. A transparency mode, accessible through the TRIBIT app, lets users hear more of their surroundings without removing the earbuds.

For calls, six built-in microphones work with AI-based noise reduction to help separate voices from background sounds. This could be useful for users who regularly take calls while commuting, working remotely or moving between meetings. The company has not provided independent call-quality measurements, so performance in particularly noisy environments remains to be evaluated.

The companion app also offers 10 preset equalizer modes, a customizable EQ and an XBass setting for listeners who prefer stronger low-frequency response. Users can adjust the sound to suit different types of content rather than relying on a single tuning profile.

Bluetooth 6.0 and multipoint connectivity let the earbuds connect to two devices, such as a laptop and smartphone, without requiring users to pair them again when switching between them.

Battery Life for Longer Listening Sessions

Battery life is another key feature. TRIBIT rates the FlyBuds C3 for up to eight hours of playback on a single charge, dropping to six hours with ANC enabled. The charging case extends total listening time to as much as 35 hours with ANC off or 25 hours with ANC on.

Those figures help buyers who expect to use noise cancellation throughout the day. With ANC enabled, the rated total falls by 10 hours, but the claimed 25-hour combined runtime should still cover multiple commutes or several days of moderate use before the case needs recharging.

Actual results will vary with volume, ANC settings, calls and other usage conditions. The earbuds also include a low-latency gaming mode rated at 50 milliseconds, intended to reduce the delay between on-screen action and audio.

Fit and Everyday Use

The 4-gram earbuds ship with three sizes of ear tips to help users find a secure fit. Their low weight may be beneficial during longer listening sessions, while the IP55 rating adds protection against sweat, dust and splashes.

TRIBIT also cites antibacterial testing conducted by Intertek, reporting no bacterial growth after 28 days and describing the earbuds as providing 99.9% antibacterial protection. That claim relates to the company’s stated test results rather than a guarantee of protection against infection.

The FlyBuds C3 are available through TRIBIT and Amazon.

Our Testing Experience

We were able to test out the FlyBuds C3, and we were impressed with the sound clarity, ANC, and comfort level of these budget true wireless earbuds. Many headphones in this price range disappoint in these categories, but the FlyBuds C3 held a charge for the claimed period of 35 hours with the ANC off, and we experienced nearly 22 hours with the ANC on. Incoming and outgoing calls were relatively clear, even on busy streets, and we were happy with the ear fit and performance of the C3 earbuds while sweating during our running and biking workouts. The case is small and easy to drop, so we recommend being careful while handling, but the case is slim and fits easily into workout clothes pockets without weighing you down.

For buyers shopping in the budget true wireless category, the main specifications to consider are the six-microphone call system, adjustable sound profiles, and the difference between rated battery life with ANC on and off. Our testing of the TRIBIT FlyBuds C3 proved that budget earbuds can deliver on noise reduction, call clarity, and real-world endurance.
