Los Angeles — Ematic added to its line of Android tablets with the 7-inch FunTab Pro.
The device runs Android 4.0 and has a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, front- and rear-facing cameras, built-in Wi-Fi, HDMI output, a MicroSD slot, parental controls and an eight-hour battery life. The screen has an 800 by 480 resolution.
Built-in programs let users send video mail, create artwork, or make video recordings of themselves reading books. It also comes with three faceplates to swap out the color — blue, pink and red. Suggested retail is $149.
