Nuki Home Solutions has named Courtney Schnitzer as its new U.S. Country Manager, tasking her with leading business development and expanding the company’s presence across the North American smart home market. The appointment comes nearly a year after the European smart access company officially entered the U.S. market with its retrofit smart lock lineup.

“Our Nuki family is thrilled to have Courtney join our team as U.S. Country Manager,” said CEO and co-founder Martin Pansy. “Her unique experience with business development and growth, alongside her passion for smart access solution innovation, will be paramount to our company’s growth in the United States and Europe.”

In her new role, Schnitzer will oversee Nuki’s U.S. growth strategy, including partnerships and market development as the company looks to expand adoption among homeowners, renters, property managers, real estate professionals, and short-term rental operators.

Schnitzer joins Nuki from Moodley Interactive, where she served as Executive Director of Partnerships, helping develop business relationships between European and U.S. companies. Her background also includes leadership roles spanning architecture, construction, digital product development, marketing, advertising, and business strategy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Princeton University in 2005.

“I am honored to join the Nuki team and to leverage my experience in support of one of Graz’s most innovative organizations,” said Courtney Schnitzer. “I have great respect for the team’s accomplishments to date and am fully committed to driving our continued growth as we navigate the expansion into the US market.”

Founded in Austria, Nuki entered the U.S. consumer market in 2025 with its retrofit smart lock, designed to install on existing single-cylinder deadbolts while supporting Matter and major smart home ecosystems, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. The company has continued to build its U.S. presence through new products and services, including its Smart Hosting platform for short-term rental operators.
