David Tovissi has joined Harman International as VP and general manager of the luxury audio division.
Most recently executive VP of ToughBuilt Industries, Tovissi has over three decades of consumer tech experience in a variety of manufacturing, retail, custom install and post-sales service roles, including custom install director at former extended warranty company NEW, and senior management roles at retailers Tweeter and Sound Advice.
Harman, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, includes such luxury audio brands as Mark Levinson, JBL Synthesis and Lexicon under its umbrella.
“We are thrilled to have David Tovissi lead our Luxury Audio team,” said Dave Rogers, Harman president of consumer audio, in a statement. “David’s understanding of the industry and his experience as a luxury audio dealer will allow him to develop more innovative products and programs for our luxury audio division.”
