Northern California technology conference moves to the Doubletree Hotel in Pleasanton, California, on May 29

Redwood Marketing has announced that the 16th annual CI Expo will be held in a new location at the Doubletree Hotel at the Club in Pleasanton, California, on May 29, 2025. This move marks a significant change for the trade show, offering attendees expanded exhibition spaces and a newer, more modern venue to experience the latest innovations in the CI Industry.

The 16th annual CI Expo will showcase cutting-edge products for commercial and residential AV integrators. The show is free for integrators and is hosted by local distributors and independent manufacturer representatives. The technology conference connects systems integrators with over 70 vendors in an interactive environment.

The CI Expo was created to educate and provide hands-on experience with the latest audio, video, lighting control, security, networking, and automation solutions for commercial and residential applications.

“For 16 years, the CI Expo has given systems integrators direct access to manufacturers and the opportunity to get technical questions answered, see product demonstrations, and find new solutions,” says Jim Knight, president of Redwood Marketing.

“This year we are excited to expand our outdoor audio and video exhibits as well as cutting-edge 4K and 8K video, wireless audio and video systems, high-performance projectors, digital signage, smart home devices, surveillance cameras, lighting controls, networking equipment, and more,” says Roz Knight, managing director at Redwood Marketing. “New this year is an expanded focus on cybersecurity, with seminars and exhibits on protecting clients’ networks and smart home systems. It gives us a chance to show them the latest and greatest gear in an interactive way, so they can determine what best fits their clients’ needs.”

Highlights at this year’s event include a Lunch and Learn with Chris Smith from TheCoTeam on hiring best practices for the CI world and vendor trainings from Bowers & Wilkins, Marantz, Denon, Definitive Technology, Polk Audio, Classé, HEOS, Epson, Grimani Systems, Sony, Lutron Lighting and Shading, Barco, Lyngdorf, and more. There will also be a free lunch.

Founded in 2009, the CI Expo is hosted by local distributors Profit Line Distributing, Sierra Select Distributors, Custom Electronic Supply, and rep firms Redwood Marketing, Zone Pacific, ALR, Paul Collins Group, and Fielder Marketing and is endorsed by CEDIA.

The CI Expo will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, at the DoubleTree Hotel at the Club, 7050 Johnson Dr, Pleasanton, CA 94588. Tickets are free for dealers and partner associates.
