CEDIA Introduces CEDIA Expo Future-Focused Education Program

Features five tracks covering business, emerging technologies, technical, certification, and design & build

CEDIA has unveiled a reinvigorated education program for CEDIA Expo and Commercial Integrator Expo 2025, taking place Sept. 4-6 in Denver. This year’s curriculum, presented during the CEDIA Education Conference from September 3–5, is designed to deliver real-world insights, foster cross-industry collaboration, and provide clear pathways for ongoing learning.

“This year, we started from the ground up,” said Paul Dolenc, vice president of education & training at CEDIA. “We’ve moved beyond the familiar formats and topics and instead leaned into what integrators need now and in the future. The result is a program packed with diverse voices, advanced topics, and clear takeaways.”

The program features five tracks, covering business, emerging technologies, technical, certification, and design & build, with classes tailored for both integrators and designers. Within these areas, newly developed courses comprise a wide spectrum of business-critical subjects, such as EV Charging Infrastructure: The Next Frontier in Home Energy; Creative Lighting Design: Practical Steps to Knock It Out of the Park; Energy Management & Microgrids: What Integrators Need to Know; and The Last 5%: Completing Projects with Excellence.

The education program includes a collaborative format, with nearly all sessions featuring two or more presenters or panel discussions, offering contrasting perspectives from integrators, manufacturers, and thought leaders. CEDIA has also ensured that there is a clear next step to the training, with attendees receiving links to white papers, CEDIA Online Learning, and related sessions to continue the training journey.

“CEDIA Board Member Amanda Wildman has been the driving force behind the program’s structure,” continues Dolenc. “She drew on her deep industry experience to identify what’s most relevant for today’s integrators. Her work has completely transformed our approach, and her clarity brought a fresh vision to life — and it’s now shaping how we’ll build future events.”

Registration for CEDIA Expo and the CEDIA Education Conference is now live. Attendees can access the education program through full conference passes or à la carte options.
