HTSA Hires Keith Esterly To Spearhead Training And Education

Training vet joins integrator group from Walmart U.S.

Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), the buying group for custom integrators and specialty A/V dealers, has brought in former Walmart and Tweeter exec Keith Esterly to lead a new education and training initiative.

In his new role as chief learning architect, Esterly, described as “a leading specialist in relationship science,” will develop custom education and team development programs for group member employees in sales, management and other disciplines.

“HTSA continues to invest heavily in its membership by building our stable of in-house experts who work full time to design, launch, and manage major new programs,” said HTSA executive director Jon Robbins. Esterly, he said, “will revolutionize how our members show and sell profitable high-performance, whole home automation, home theater, and lighting solutions by cracking the code on the human connection.”

Esterly was previously talent development director at Walmart U.S., and before that served as training director for Tweeter Home Entertainment Group’s Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

He will provide a preview of the HTSA’s new learning initiatives at the group’s upcoming Spring Conference in Chandler, Ariz., April 16-18.
