Acer To Ship 3D PC Monitor

San Jose, Calif. - Acer America will start shipping in early February a high-end FullHD 3D display.

The GD235HZ has FullHD 3D viewing when paired with Nvidia's 3D Vision active-shutter glasses. These are sold as a separate kit, which contains the glasses, a wireless USB adapter and the software to work with the display. It carries a $199 suggested retail.
The monitor can be used without the glasses. It features a 129Hz refresh rate, 2ms response rate and 1,000:1 contrast ratio, along with HDMI, DVI and VGA ports. Suggested retail is $399.

I own three of these already thanks to CCity and I can only tell you that I have quit my day job, sold my commuter SUV and prepaid my Electrical bill for the next 12 months so I can truely enjoy this technology unbugged by telemarketers and doorbells.
