RESIDE and Lightapalooza Leadership Team Shares Plans for InfoComm 2027 Debut in New Video Panel
The four leaders behind the shows debuting at InfoComm 2027 discuss show planning, the move to Orlando, and where the industry can weigh in
Women in Consumer Technology presents a new video panel with the AVIXA leadership team for RESIDE and Lightapalooza, the residential integration and lighting shows debuting at InfoComm 2027 in Orlando, Florida. The panel is hosted by Kat Wheeler, Strategic Director and co-principal of TIG Global PR, and the full conversation is on YouTube.
The panel features Show Director Lisa Staszewski, Manager of Live Content Keisha Wooten-Smith, Senior Manager of Audience Development and Marketing Vanessa Sayen, and Senior Account Manager Jody Larsen. AVIXA announced their appointments in September. The group’s experience includes NAB Show, more than 20 years at CEDIA, decades of work with dealer networks and buying groups, and executive summits for Fortune 500 leaders.
Over the hour, the panel covers:
- What makes a trade show worth the time and travel for dealers, manufacturers, and service providers
- How Lightapalooza will keep its community as it moves to InfoComm, after growing from 225 attendees in 2022 to more than 1,600 in 2026
- How RESIDE, a joint venture between AVIXA, HTSA, and ProSource, will fit within InfoComm and connect the residential and commercial AV channels
- Which decisions are still open, and where the team wants input from the industry
