HAUPPAUGE, NY – NOVEMBER 4, 2014 -–VOXX Electronics Corp (VEC), today announced it will begin shipping its newest additions to the FlashLogic program- the FLRSHA6 and FLRSNI5 Data Remote Start Systems. The FLRSHA6 is designed exclusively for select 2013+ Honda and Acura vehicles, while the FLRSNI5 is designed exclusively for select 2007-2014 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. These Flashlogic systems will turn a factory keyless entry system into a full remote start system without having to add an additional aftermarket remote start system.
“We believe that Flashlogic modules have made a huge difference in the car dealers ability to upgrade basic keyless entry into full blown security and remote start systems at a reasonable cost, with limited inventory requirements and quick installation-all translating into better profits from these key add-ons,” said Tom Malone, President of VOXX Electronics.
The FlashLogic systems come with a “T-Harness” which allows dealers to reduce install time. The dealer also benefits from lower inventory SKU’s since they simply download the vehicle specific software for a wide range of vehicles – no need to carry vehicle specific SKUs. There are 13 Flashlogic kits that cover all of the major vehicle brands including Chrysler, GM, FORD, BMW and Mercedes.
VOXX is also making optional transmitter upgrade packages available (not included) to give the consumer even more flexibility and features. There are upgrade kits for two-way LCD confirmation FLRF2 ~ MSRP $399.99) and one that will increase the operating range of the Data Start Systems to over 1,500 feet. (FLRF4 ~ $199.99)
For the ultimate in flexibility, these systems can also be added to the company’s Car Connection PRO telematics OBDII product that not only manages and monitors the vehicle health and driver performance but also has a smart phone application for operating the remote start and security system.
The FLRSHA6 and FLRSNI5 are available now at Prestige, Pursuit and Code Alarm Authorized Dealers for an MSRP of $249.99 each.
