LOS ANGELES (July 15, 2014) – The home entertainment industry’s leading trade association, DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) commenced its 18th year with the announcement of its incoming Board of Directors and Officers.
The DEG’s voting member companies elected a new Board of Directors to serve for the 2014-15 fiscal year (August 1 – July 31). New to the Board are Bill Clark of Anchor Bay Entertainment, Martin Sacchi of Microsoft, Ron Schwartz of Lionsgate, Mike Fasulo of Sony Electronics, Man Jit Singh of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Eddie Cunningham of Universal Studios Home Entertainment, and Dan Cohen of the Walt Disney Studios.
The Officers of the DEG Board were elected to a two-year term and include Ron Sanders of Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution who will continue to serve as Chair, Mike Dunn of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment who will continue to serve as Vice Chair, and Sofia Chang of HBO Home Entertainment who will start her first term as Chief Financial Officer. They are responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the DEG’s agenda, which has a full slate of programs and activities aimed at growing the home entertainment industry.
