Luxury appliance brand SKS has partnered with Yale Appliance to open the first SKS Technicurean Center, an immersive showroom in the Boston area designed to give homeowners and design professionals hands-on access to the company’s premium appliance portfolio. The new destination marks an expansion of SKS’ Technicurean Living concept beyond traditional retail displays.
“The SKS Technicurean Center was created to introduce a new kind of showroom experience that goes beyond product displays to immerse homeowners and the design community in the intersection of culinary innovation, thoughtful design, and advanced technology,” said Yance Choi, senior vice president of SKS. “We’re proud to partner with Yale Appliance to elevate the traditional showroom model and create a destination where inspiration, education, and experience come together.”

Located at Yale Appliance’s showroom in Dorchester, Mass., the Technicurean Center combines connected kitchen technology, live culinary demonstrations, and interactive product displays in an environment intended to resemble a luxury home rather than a conventional appliance showroom. The space is designed to serve homeowners, builders, architects, and designers looking to explore integrated kitchen solutions.
Featured products include the SKS 48-inch Dual-Fuel Pro Range with gas, induction, and built-in sous vide cooking capabilities; the 36-inch Induction Pro Range with a steam-combi oven; a 48-inch built-in French door refrigerator; and a 24-inch integrated wine refrigerator featuring the company’s Wine Cave Technology.

The showroom will host cooking demonstrations, educational events, and consultations while showcasing how built-in appliances can be integrated into modern kitchen designs. Yale Appliance, which has long served the New England market, will oversee the ongoing consumer and trade experiences offered at the location.
“The modern kitchen needs to work for how we actually live,” said Steve Sheinkopf, CEO of Yale Appliance. “The SKS Technicurean Center does just that by blending high-tech cooking – like induction and sous vide – into a beautiful design built for how we entertain today.”
The showroom also features cabinetry from Wegner Cabinetry, surfaces from LX Hausys, and fixtures from Newport Brass, creating a complete luxury kitchen environment that reflects the Technicurean Living philosophy.
