Clearwater, Fla. - Phoenix Gold has begun shipping its Ti2-series subwoofers.
The line was first introduced at International CES in January. Models are meant to be reminiscent in both styling and performance of the company's Titanium series from the 1990s, the company said. They come in 10- and 12-inch sizes.
The 10-inch Ti210D2 has a 600-watt, dual 2-ohm subwoofer, and the 10-inch Ti210D4 has a 600-watt, 4-ohm subwoofer. Suggested retail for each is $234.
The 12-inch Ti212D2 is 600-watt, dual 2-ohm subwoofer, while the 12-inch Ti212D4 is a 600-watt, 4-ohm subwoofer. Suggested retail is $274 each.
All four have frequency responses listed at 20Hz to 300Hz. Features include high-temperature OFC copper voice coils, a co-injected foam/polypropylene cone, titanium-aluminum hybrid former and a high-excursion CAE/CAD motor design to deliver thick, deep bass without sacrificing fidelity, the company said.
