NEW YORK – Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett soon will be lighting up LG 4K Ultra HD TV screens at retail showrooms across the country thanks to an LG Electronic’s co-sponsorship of their “Cheek To Cheek: Live” concert, which recently appeared on PBS stations.
The concert, which will be the first of its kind to be streamed in 4K Ultra HD, was recorded at New York City’s Jazz At Lincoln Center last July, and co-sponsored by LG and Amazon.
Amazon is making the video available as a stream at a date to be announced through its Amazon Instant 4K Service later in the year, and LG will be providing it to dealers for in-store display on 4K Ultra HD TV screens.
The concert featured songs from Bennett and Lady Gaga’s new critically acclaimed album of jazz standards, “Cheek to Cheek.”
Dave VanderWaal, LG’s head of marketing, said that thanks in part to LG’s co-sponsorship, Amazon Instant Video customers will be able to stream the performance in the highest resolution at no added cost.
