Speaking at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women dinner, Rosalind Brewer said she is outflanking chief channel rival Costco with investments in digital retail, with an emphasis on mobile. And in a been-there-done-that moment, she also warned Amazon, which is beefing up its private-label assortment, that house brands are far easier said than done.
