Kano’s Gregg Stein Named To CTA’s Small Business Council

Will have a hand in education, networking and mentoring programs

Gregg Stein, chief revenue officer and general manager North America of Kano, a manufacturer of DIY computing and coding kits, has been elected as a board member of the Small Business Council (SBC) of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA).

Stein was elected by CTA’s small business members and will be heavily involved in devising the strategies, programs and opportunities aimed at supporting small businesses in the consumer technology industry.

The SBC supports the growth and success of entrepreneurs through education, collaboration and mentoring. Some of the key initiatives offered through the SBC that he will be shaping include the CTA Mentor Program, web/virtual educational programs and networking events for entrepreneurs.

“I am honored and humbled to have been elected to join the prestigious CTA Small Business Council. At Kano, we demystify technology and bring the joy of creation to all people,” said Stein. “I am eager to collaborate with some of the most influential consumer technology leaders to bring that same level of demystification and a sense of community to technology entrepreneurs and small businesses around the globe.”

Stein joined Kano as VP global sales in 2017 and has spent nearly two decades in the consumer technology industry, with positions at Roli, Libratone and InMusic Brands, among others.
