MantelMount announced Michael N. Smith has joined MantelMount as the company’s new Vice President of Wholesale Operations. Smith will be responsible for all aspects of MantelMount’s business-to-business sales channel efforts, including strategy, sales, marketing, and improving operational and technology infrastructure.
“Throughout my career, I’ve actively sought to associate with market leaders and pioneers, like Directed, Ford, and Qualcomm,” Smith said in a statement. “I saw that MantelMount was doing things that no one else in the TV mount space was doing. What’s more, I got a glimpse at the innovations that they had coming down the road, and I was extremely impressed. After meeting with them, I knew I wanted to be a part of a team that displayed such vision, both in terms of engineering, technology and market direction.”
Smith served as Senior Vice President of Operations, IT & Marketing at Directed, LLC, prior to joining MantelMount. He also held various management positions at Ford Motor Company and at Wingcast, a joint venture between Ford and Qualcomm.
