Englewood Cliffs, N.J. - James Fishler was named to the newly created and expanded position of LG Electronics USA marketing and go-to-market operations senior VP.
Reiner recently left the company to pursue other opportunities, LG said.
Fishler's role grows to encompass marketplace operations, in-store merchandising and sales operations.
This new position also encompasses brand marketing for home appliances, home electronics and mobile phone products in the United States.
He adds Reiner's marketing, advertising, public relations and consumer promotions responsibilities.
"James is a valued leader who has partnered closely with marketing and our retail partners in his current role to advance LG's performance," said Wayne Park, LG Electronics USA president and CEO. "I'm confident that his extensive sales and operations background will be a great asset to our talented marketing team as they continue to strengthen the LG brand in U.S. marketplace."
Fishler said, "LG is committed to putting the consumer first, and our consolidated organization will help assure consumers have a consistent experience wherever and whenever they interact with our brand and our products. Whether a consumer is visiting our website, a retailer's store or seeing a TV commercial, we will strive to deliver an unparalleled experience across all touch points and channels," Fishler said.
Fishler had been go-to-market operations senior VP since May 2010.
He joined LG in June 2009 as sales VP, responsible for electronics strategic account development.
Fishler began his CE industry career in 1997 at Sony Electronics, where he served in a variety of roles and locations across the United States. His last post there was as strategic sales planning VP in 2009.
