Berlin — LG said it would ship DivX-certified LCD and Plasma TVs to Europe and Asia at the IFA show, here, last week.
The Time Machine series will include three LCD TVs (the 47LB5RE, 42LB5RT and 37LB4RT) and a pair of plasmas (50PB4RT and 42PB4RT).
They will offer an 80GB built-in hard disk drive for recording and time-shifting TV programs. It can record one channel while a user watches another. The sets will also feature a USB 2.0 port for backing up recorded programs and for playing back DivX video, MP3 audio files and JPEG images.
U.S. availability was not announced.
