Torrance, Calif. –
, which is marketing the GE digital camera brand, kicked
off a Share the Joy sweepstakes Tuesday with the aim of donating up to 1,000
cameras to the Toys for Tots program.
In addition to providing charitable donations, every entry will
get a chance to win the GE X500 or GE E1680W digital cameras.
To participate, a contestant needs to select “like” on the GE
Cameras Facebook page.
For every new Facebook fan, $1 worth of GE digital cameras will
be donated to Toys for Tots, General Imaging said.
For every 1,000 likes generated, GE Digital Cameras will give
away an X500 or E1680W camera to some of its newest Facebook fans.
The company said that during the week of Dec. 19, up to 1,000
cameras will be delivered to Toys for Tots.
Toys for Tots is a yearly program run by the U.S. Marine Corps
Reserve, which donates toys to needy children in communities across the nation
in time for the holidays.
The promotion will run through Dec. 23.
