InComm Partners With Global Warranty Group

TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 8/26/2010

St. James, N.Y. - InComm is adding Global Warranty Group's mobile data-protection plan to its assortment of gift cards, debit cards, air time and other prepaid products.

Under terms of the agreement, InComm -- a developer and distributor of prepaid offers -- will provide the mobile data-protectionprogram to a number of national drug chains, wholesale clubs, convenience stores and big-box retailers in the U.S. and Canada.

Global Warranty Group, which describes itself as the continent's largest dealer-based, third-party provider of insurance-backed handset replacement programs, said its data-protection plan is a new application for smartphones and PDAs that remotely backs up and stores all content via a carrier-grade wireless network. The system is compatible with all devices, carriers and operating systems; has a double-encryption security feature to assure secure transmissions; and offers flexible storage, retrieval and backup scheduling, the company said.

"We are pleased to be given the opportunity to partner with InComm and take advantage of their enormous distribution network and advanced point-of-sale technology," said Global Warranty Group president Charles Pipia. "This association will allow us to broaden both our exposure and distribution of mobile data protection to new and diverse audiences."
