Sanus Debuts Super Slim Mounts

Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 7/13/2009

St. Paul, Minn. - Sanus Systems has launched a new category within its VisionMount series, known as the Super Slim mounts.
The Super Slim mounts can reportedly mount an ultra-thin LED, LCD and plasma TV less than 1 inch from the wall. Two

models are part of the category: the LL11-B1 for TVs measuring 37 inches to 65 inches and weighing up to 150 pounds, and the ML11-B1 for TVs measuring 26 to 46 inches and weighing up to 100 pounds.
Features include ProSet post-installation height and leveling adjustment, allowing up to 0.5 inch of movement; a locking mechanism to securely hold the TV to the wall plate, locking with an audible "click" to indicate proper installation; hidden quick-release tabs that can be pulled down to unlock the TV from the wall plate; and ClickStand props that hold the TV 3.08 inches from the wall for additional work room, allowing access to cables and A/V hookups.
The mounts also include a rail design that's engineered to let installers shift the TV right or left of the wall plate, even with off-center studs, said Sanus.
Wall-plate mounting holes on the LL11-B1 accommodate both 16- and 24-inch on-center studs, according to the company.
The mounts are currently available for a list price of $119 for the ML11-B1 and $149 for the LL11-B1.
