Iacoviello Becomes Head Of New Panasonic Group

Secaucus, N.J. — John Iacoviello, senior VP of the Panasonic Consumer Electronics’ Product and Marketing Group, has been named president of the company’s newly consolidated Sales & Marketing Group as of Jan. 1.

New Year’s Day is when the new unit, which will include Iacoviello’s Product and Marketing Group will be incorporated into the new structure.

He will continue to report Martin Kono, president of Panasonic Consumer Electronics.

In a prepared statement announcing the appointment and the new group Kono said, “This management change enables us to show a single face to our channel partners and customers. And in addition, it will speed up decision-making and communication within Panasonic’s supply chain. John Iacoviello has just the right combination of marketing leadership and sales experience to make this newly consolidated group successful.”
