HD DVD Gets Promo Boost

Wayne, N.J. – Looking to take on new lower-priced Blu-ray Disc players coming to market, Toshiba has launched a promotion offering five HD DVD movie discs for the purchase of any Toshiba HD DVD player.
The offer, which started March 1 and will run through July 31, 2007, allows HD DVD buyers to receive five free HD DVD discs from a selection of 15 total titles in five categories – eligible customers must select one free disc from each of the following categories:

Category A: Includes Apollo 13, Chronicles of Riddick, and Seabiscuit;

Category B: Includes Casablanca, Constantine, Dukes of and Hazzard;

Category C: Includes Four Brothers, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow;

Category D: Includes The Rundown, Blazing Saddles, and U2: Rattle and Hum;

Category E: Includes U-571, The Perfect Storm, and We Were Soldiers.
