Pittsburgh, PA – To prepare dealers for the busy summer months ahead, PowerHouse Alliance members are emphasizing collaborative integration techniques, while also inviting custom integrators to a host of new events that take them out of the office and into the warehouse, storefront and on the showroom floor.
In late fall, PowerHouse member Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.), announced the addition of a third facility in Bloomington, MN. Since then, the new storefront has been thriving, resulting in C.E.D.’s growth; the distributor brought on several new team members to accommodate evolving sales and support. To celebrate, C.E.D. is hosting a Grand Opening Event in Bloomington on May 12 featuring exclusive product specials all day, giveaways, free lunch, dinner and more. Representatives from major manufacturers LG, Polk, Jamo, Clare Controls, Vanco, Yamaha, Legrand and Luxul will also be in attendance for networking and to demo their latest products and applications.
“This new facility represents an incredible milestone and immense growth for all of us at C.E.D.,” said Avery Baron, President of C.E.D. “We were thrilled to have the opportunity to extend our reach and better serve our region, and there’s no better way to celebrate than to bring our dealers and manufacturers together under this new roof.”
Fellow member, 21st Century Distributing is also celebrating the launch of a fresh initiative this coming month. On May 28, their all-new IntegrationInnovation Dealer Roadshow kicks off in Orlando, FL where they will showcase solutions from popular security, A/V and connected home vendors such as Vanco, Core Brands, Kwikset, 2GIG, URC, Yamaha, Polk, RTI, and Nest – just to name a few. There will also be a number of product giveaways and prizes handed out at each stop before the nightly cocktail hour. The following day, the crew at 21st Century Distributing will pack up their one-of-a kind mobile demo display and move on to Jacksonville, FL for their second stop. The tour will continue to move through the Southeast ending at the 2015 Electronic Security Expo (ESX).
“This year, we took dealer feedback to heart and made major changes to our annual Dealer Expo, transforming the once stationary event into an interactive roadshow; the new format is giving us the chance to reach more dealers across our entire territory in a new and very exciting way,” said Don Vincini, Owner of 21st Century Distributing. “By hitting six major cities across the Southeast we have the opportunity to generate new relationships and showcase how we do business to dealers we may not have met before.”
