Demo Days lets Consumers Experience the Latest in TV and Audio

This weekend, May 2-4, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® will once again host Demo Days, giving consumers the opportunity to see, hear and try the latest innovations in television and audio at consumer electronics (CE) retail stores across the country. CEA’s CE Demo Days is a nationwide campaign to educate consumers about the latest CE products and encourage them to experience these products firsthand at a local electronics retailer.

Consumers can see the latest in TV technology, including Ultra HDTV, and learn how to interact with social media platforms and websites through their televisions. To complete the viewing experience, shoppers can listen to the latest in home audio for themselves and realize the full potential of everything they watch.

“CEA Demo Days is a great way to experience firsthand the latest technologies for TV viewing, movie watching and music listening,” said Allyson Pahmer, director of member programs at CEA. “These new products and technologies are truly something you need to see and hear to believe.”

Nearly 200 retailers will take part in this weekend’s Demo Days, almost twice the number of locations that participated in CE Demo Days last fall. CEA is providing all the creative elements for CE Demo Days marketing for free on Revenew, the consumer electronics industry’s marketing network.

Participating electronics retailers and installers across the country will hold special product demonstration events in their stores and showrooms. Expert sales staff will be on hand to answer shoppers’ questions and help consumers find the best home theater setup to meet their needs and budgets.
