MORGANVILLE, N.J. -- June 17, 2015 -- Aurora Multimedia, a leading innovator and global provider of state-of-the-art IP control systems and HD video distribution, today unveiled its all-new DXP-62 HDBaseT(TM) Scaler at InfoComm 2015 in Orlando, Florida. Ideal for presentation settings looking to increase installation flexibility while maintaining cost-effectiveness, the value-added scaler features four HDMI(R) inputs and two VGA/YPbPr/composite inputs, as well as scaling up to 1920x1200 HD resolutions at 60Hz via simultaneous HDMI and HDBaseT outputs.
"Our new DXP-62 will revolutionize the way our One Room -- One Cable platform meets the demands of today's presentation environments," said Paul Harris, CEO, Aurora Multimedia. "Ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, and A/V cart applications, the device lets users effortlessly switch between multiple sources while providing integrators with a tool that installs easily and cost effectively into a multitude of applications."
Leveraging the features of Aurora Multimedia's market-leading One Room -- One Cable(TM) system, the DXP-62 provides the ability for HDBaseT output to pass through Power over HDBaseT (PoH) onto an awaiting HDBaseT receiver as well as RS-232 and IR for display control. In addition, the solution provides four external audio inputs, an additional mic input with independent volume control, de-embedding line level stereo output capabilities, and auto-sensing/switching video inputs. The unit is available in packages with any of Aurora Multimedia's award-winning DXE-CAT receivers -- allowing customers to configure installations with onboard amplification, relay control, and background/paging integration to create a complete single cable solution.
The new DXP-62 Presentation Scaler/Switcher is on display in Aurora Multimedia's booth 3059 at InfoComm 2015. More information on the company's full line of products is available at www.auroramultimedia.com.
