Toms River, N.J. — VCM Solutions has signed Global Warranty Group (GWG) to provide protection plans for its WhatWater line of waterproof mobile phone and tablet cases.
“Our partnership with Global Warranty Group allows us to further expand our solutions and product offerings to our customers,” said VCM co-founders Vincent and Connie Minasi. “This new offering provides comprehensive product protection for the line.”
The cases come with a one-year warranty that covers any water damage to mobile devices while using the accessory, and VCM, based here, also offers extended 24-month protection from damage or product failure for any cause for $99.
“There is a universal need for all phones, tablets and phablets to be protected, regardless of cost or features,” said GWG president Charles Pipia. “We welcome the opportunity to partner with VCM Solutions to give their consumers peace-of-mind protection for all their WhatWater products.”
The Minasis said WhatWater was conceived as an inexpensive, waterproof cellphone case that was “not too bulky” and could be used on a variety of models. They said the cases feature high-quality materials and a guaranteed waterproof clip with a patent-pending safety locking system, and are available in four sizes to accommodate the smallest phones to the largest tablets.
The company currently sells direct to consumers from its e-commerce site WhatWater.com.
GWG, based in St. James, N.Y., is a leading third-party administrator and provider of extended-service contract and OEM warranty programs throughout the U.S. and Canada.
