Hoffman Estates, Ill. — Imran Jooma, president of online, marketing, pricing and financial services at Sears Holdings, has given notice.
The corporate executive VP resigned last week and will stay on board through Feb. 6, 2015, a federal filing shows.
Jooma played a critical role at Sears, not just for the many hats he wore, but for also directing the company’s multichannel initiatives, which are central to chairman, CEO and majority shareholder Edward Lampert’s strategic direction.
He also served as a Sears spokesman during the current holiday selling season.
Jooma joined Sears in 2007 from Circuit City, where he was e-commerce VP for three-and-a-half years. Before that he served as e-commerce divisional VP for OfficeMax.
No successor was named.
