Shaw Re-Elected HTSA Board President

Barrington, Ill. — Audio Advice principal Leon Shaw has been named 2015 president of the board of directors of the Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA).

Shaw, who founded the famed specialty A/V and custom install business 36 years ago, had previously served as board president in 2010. He currently serves as VP of the buying and marketing group for independent dealers and custom integrators, and has been a director since 2006.

“Leon’s dedication and decades of experience serving the residential technology community has not gone unnoticed,” said HTSA executive director Bob Hana.

Hana added that Shaw’s deep relationships with fellow directors, group members, and vendors have allowed him “to add real value to conversations, strategies and evolving organization initiatives.”

Said Shaw, “HTSA is comprised of true talent, knowledge and experience … I’m eager to see what this next year will bring.”

Shaw succeeds Joe Barret, principal of Barrett’s Technology Solutions.
