Erik Qualman, a Pulitzer Prize-nominated author and authority on digital leadership and reputation, will deliver the keynote address at Mega Group USA’s fall convention in Nashville next month.
“Erik Qualman is a digital visionary, a trusted advisor to global companies on how to use digital for their success,” said Mega Group president Rick Bellows. “Inviting Erik as our special guest at the fall convention is a testament to our commitment to our member retailers to remain on the forefront of technology. It’s all about what we can do in this ever-evolving digital age to help our members stay in business — and thrive.”
Indeed, Mega has a long track record of providing the latest digital marketing services to its dealer members, including a 2006 partnership with Retail Web Services (RWS) that led to the purchase of unique domain names and the launch of individual websites for all members.
Its latest online initiative, WebFronts Level 4, helped produce 1.9 million impressions, 1,429 rebate form downloads and more than 3,000 calls from members’ mobile sites during the July 4 holiday, outpacing Memorial Day.
In his keynote, Qualman will present the latest “socialnomics” insight into how social media has transformed business, and how retailers can leverage the phenomena through best practices in online reputation management. A book signing of his Pulitzer Prize-nominated tome, “What Happens in Vegas Stays on YouTube,” will follow.
Mega Group’s 2016 Fall National Convention will take place Aug. 21-24 at the Omni Hotel and Music City Center in Nashville. For more information, visit MegaGroupShow.com.
