Larry Mondry, the former CEO of CompUSA, was named president/CEO of CSK Auto, a leading auto parts and accessories retailer.
Mondry served as CompUSA’s chief executive from November 2003 to May 2006. He joined the chain in 1990, holding a variety of key management positions including senior VP/general merchandise manager, merchandising executive VP, and president/COO. He was succeeded by president/COO Tony Weiss, who left three months later after 18 years with the company.
Mondry began his retail career in 1983 at Highland Superstores, the former multi-regional CE specialty chain, where he held various merchandising positions.
