Halliday is taking a different approach to the rapidly growing AI smart glasses market, introducing a second-generation wearable that focuses less on capturing content and more on helping professionals navigate meetings and conversations in real time.
The company unveiled the Halliday G2 AI Glasses, a camera-free wearable designed to deliver contextual AI assistance directly within the wearer’s field of view. Rather than relying on smartphones or laptops, users can receive live captions, translations, summaries, research and reminders while remaining engaged in conversations.
Expected to ship in September with a suggested retail price of $599, Halliday G2 is available for preorder beginning July 21 with a $10 deposit, which secures a $100 discount off the final purchase price.
Unlike many smart glasses entering the market, Halliday is targeting business professionals instead of content creators. The company believes AI glasses represent the next step in personal computing, bringing intelligence into live interactions rather than simply documenting them.
At the center of the platform is Meeting Flow, an AI system designed to assist users while meetings are taking place. Halliday says most AI meeting tools work after conversations end by generating transcripts and summaries. Meeting Flow instead provides live captions, real-time translation, quick research, discussion tracking and decision confirmation as conversations unfold, while automatically creating meeting summaries and action items once the session is complete.
“Our customers want AI that helps during the conversation—not after it’s over,” said Carter Hou, COO and Co-Founder of Halliday. “The most important business decisions still happen live in meetings, client conversations and everyday interactions.”
The Halliday G2 features a new binocular waveguide display powered by dual micro-LED projectors capable of producing up to 1,600 nits of brightness, allowing users to glance at information without breaking eye contact. Additional features include a four-microphone array optimized for meetings, more than 12 hours of typical battery life, prescription lens compatibility and support for voice commands, notifications, phone calls and music playback.
One of the product’s biggest differentiators is what it leaves out. Unlike several competing AI glasses, Halliday G2 does not include a camera, a decision the company says makes the product better suited for offices, customer meetings and other privacy-sensitive environments while also reducing weight and extending battery life.
Founded in 2021, Halliday introduced its first AI glasses at CES 2025, where the company says it earned six awards. Its original DigiWindow glasses also generated more than $1 million in Kickstarter sales during the first 24 hours, providing early momentum for the brand.
For retailers, Halliday G2 reflects a broader shift in wearable AI from lifestyle accessories toward business productivity tools. By focusing on executives, sales professionals, consultants and other meeting-intensive users, the company is positioning itself in a growing segment of the wearable market where privacy, hands-free productivity and enterprise applications could become key differentiators.
